Default Episode 15: Bare Bones

MJCP and Tony Williams geek out with Rich Siegel, the Founder and CEO of Bare Bones Software, developer of the iconic BBEdit as well as products such as TextWrangler, Yojimbo, Mailsmith and more. Bare Bones has been there through all of the major Mac platform transitions, from 68K and System 6 through PowerPC, Mac OS X and Intel. On the occasion of the release of Snow Leopard we look back at those big changes, weigh up the relatively modest changes in Mac OS X 10.6, and look to the future of Mac development.

Listen now!

Downloading now to the iPod touch for my listening pleasure on the way back to the farm on Monday afternoon, thankyou. At just on an hour in length that covers a half to two thirds of my journey and makes it go a lot "quicker."

Interesting podcast Matthew. Your podcast guest list is the definite differentiator. When will we hear Dalrymple?

You know what I realised last night, nobody has posted a review for MacThePodcast on iTunes. I've typed one up and it should be on the store shortly:

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/M...t?id=311354847

The topics on MacThePodcast are always fascinating and the guests are always interesting. Light-hearted discussion about current Apple related events in Australia and the world ensure an enjoyable listen for everyone.

Even if you're new to Mac OS X or the iPhone, or if you've been an Apple fan from the beginning, this is the podcast to listen to.
I gave it 5 stars as well.

I invite everyone to get on iTunes to rate and review MacThePodcast. Maybe one day we can get it promoted to the Featured section.

Great idea Clinton, I've also just added a review at your suggestion.
