In case you didn't see it on Twitter, local prices are yet to be set.

There are two models, one with WiFi only and one with WiFi and 3G. Both are available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

$US499 for 16GB WiFi, $US629 for 16GB WiFi + 3G
$US599 for 32GB WiFi, $US729 for 32GB WiFi + 3G
$US699 for 64GB WiFi, $US829 for 64GB WiFi + 3G

At today's exchange rate (which is, it should be noted, completely irrelevant to what the price will be in June/July), $US829 = $A927.15, which gives a GST-inclusive price of $A1019.87. Even presuming a small markup that puts the price of a 64GB iPad with 3G in the realm of a 32GB iPhone.

I expect we'll see an iPhone price adjustment — not to mention a new model —*in June/July.
